I'm tired of Jake dragging his binkie across the floor, and I also think he's getting a little too old to be contantly popping his binkie into his mouth (even in his sleep...) So I've decided that he will only have the binkie at bedtime. (Not even naptime, because the kid sleeps SO much...)
So far, he's doing well....but naptime WAS a bit rough!

Cold turkey! Easier said than done, but that's what we ended up doing with Tanner. :) Hopefully Taylor won't be quite so hard. He finally has his two bottom teeth, and as soon as the top ones come in, that binki is gone! :) Good Luck!
good luck. Cold turkey worked for my two binky kids. The other two never wanted one.
Binki weening was always easier for my kids than I expected. Hopefully it will be for you as well!
