New Dilemma

Both boys are fine. There is nothing "new" with either of them...the new problem lies with me.
It doesn't matter what time of day or night, if I sit still for more than 5 minutes, I will fall asleep. This is more than just exhaustion too. It's beginning to be a problem. I will literally sit in a comfortable chair/couch not do anything, and within MINUTES I'm asleep and possibly snoring. I've been missing a lot of the funny parts or interesting parts to shows or movies because of this.
But more than just missing out on my shows or movies....it IS a problem. One I THOUGHT I could fix on my own. I've tried taking iron, thinking maybe I was anemic, but it's NOT helping.
I have a feeling that I need to go in to a doctor, but right now I can't afford it. I guess I'll be sleeping through the next month or so. This is NOT fun. :(

oh my goodness! you need to see a doctor now! don't worry that you can't afford they will send you a bill and you can do payments. They can't say that you can't. They may guilt you into paying for the whole thing at once but they can't make you. SO GO TO THE DOCTOR!

I second that motion. Something could be seriously wrong and you need to find out! Take luck. We'll pray for you. <3

If you are noticing that this is effecting you in a major way, you NEED to get it checked out. If anything, ask your mom and dad to help you with the cost, or ask the dr's office about a payment plan. Most places are willing to help if you mention a money problem up front. Before you wait until it gets really bad, think of Cam and Jake. They wouldn't want their mommy to be in trouble. In my prayers...

YIKES! My FIL was doing the SAME thing a couple of years ago. He would randomly fall asleep during a birthday party. It was a HUGE possibility that he would fall asleep while driving. He had a sleep study and found that he had SEVERE sleep apnea. It was so bad that the dr. was concerned about him dying in his sleep. He got help and is doing AMAZING now. You MUST get help woman. PLEASE.

Yes, you may have sleep apnea, which puts you at risk for all kinds of problems, including heart disease and high blood pressure. I am wondering if I have it myself. Ask your hubby to monitor your sleep for an hour. If you are snoring and jolting awake a lot, you probably have it. It doesn't allow you much REM sleep and releases endorphines into your blood stream each time you jolt awake. You literally can die from it after so long. Please go see your doctor.-Kayce Steadman
