Insomniac

I used to have this ALL of the time growing up, now it seems I've come back to it! I did manage to fall asleep earlier tonight, but it was in front of the television downstairs, and apparently my snoring is loud and distracting. I wish I could just tell my brain, "HEY! It's bedtime...SLEEP!" But it just doesn't always work like that! I think I'll attempt to cuddle with my sleeping honey!
I NEED SLEEP!

I feel for you - I had this bad a few years ago but luckily it seems to have gone away. I find for myself it's usually stress-induced.

My poor baby is having to deal with this lately. Yesterday I put her down for her nap and she was just fine until I started leaving. Then she FREAKED out and started screaming "Mommy! I CANT CLOSE MY EYES!!!" She was really upset that her body wasn't naturally tired and I had to assure her that if she just lay there for a while her eyes would eventually shut. But I totally understood her situation.

Good luck! Maybe use some of this insomnia to read a few good books?

1:30 to 2:00am is frequently my bed time when I don't have to get up the next morning. I just try to sqeeze every ounce out of each day.
