I'm finally back into my own groove...for the moment. I had, as one of my friends put it, little "L" until late last night. Her parents were trying to get out of the hospital as quickly as they could, but with all of the paperwork and the "failed" hearing test it took longer than it would have. Everyone is fine and little "L" is glad to be home with her parents!
I've been packing to go camping all morning. I'm so excited. We go to Island Park Reservoir every year! It's usually dry and windy, but with the wet spring that we've just had I think it will be different! Our normal camp outs get rained on and so we are expecting to get wet. So for me, rain reminds me of camping. I can't tell you how much I LOVE rain. The sound, the smells, the clean feeling it gives EVERYTHING! I'm just excited to be going soon! I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend...no matter what you do! :)

For some reason, you talking about rain and caping reminds me of girls camp. I remember slogging up the wet, muddy hill with you, and you, unable to "stand your ground," kept slipping and falling into the muddy goo. Your clothes were completely caked with mud! And me, being the supportive friend that I've always been, stood by and laughed my head off at the whole thing.
I hope you have fun on your camping trip. Try not to fall in the mud. :)
I forgot to ask.... so was "L" in the hospital for only one day, and not overnight? Wow. I hope she can get some rest!

Carebearmommy, yes, "L" was in the hospital after having the baby just one night, but she was there since Monday night....definately ready to go home!! :)
Have fun in the rain...rain IS DEFINITLY EXPECTED this weekend here! We on the other hand will only be dreaming of camping since we are going to Utah Friday evening...enjoying Craig's grandpa's 80th b day party, and likely planting the garden! FINALLY! Enjoy you r tip...just beware that we might drive on up to the reservoir and tp your tent!
